Wouldn't it be great if you have a passport that glows under an ultraviolet light?
Norwegians have a reason to rejoice as they get a
unique passport that not only highlights the country’s beautiful
landscapes and scenery, but also glows when kept under UV lights.

Local agency Neue Design Studio won a competition to redesign the
passport and they have indeed done a commendable job by introducing a
quirky design to the passports, which would definitely standout from the
usual ones. The passport also comes in different colour covers,
depending on whether the owner is a Norwegian citizen, immigrant or a
diplomat. The government will take two years to implement the new
design.

The most appealing thing about the passport is that it will glow
under UV light, making the airport security guy’s work a little less
mundane. The passport also features Elk, which is the largest animal
found in Norway. If you flip the pages rapidly, you will see the animal
galloping through the booklet. How cool is that? We wish even our Indian
passports get this cool, what say?
